Contact: Johnny Almond The Uwharrie Players is Stanly County's Community Theatre organization. The Players present three productions per year. The Players invite anyone who may be interested in performing or working "behind" the scenes. | From the unique works of wildlife sculptor, Roger Martin to the picturesque portraits by Roger Thomas, and the realist watercolors of Ron Taylor, Stanly County is proud of its talented artists. From rural landscapes, historic images and coastal scenes to bronze sculptures and life size renditions of mountain bears, the creations are unique to each artist. The Stanly County Arts Council is a county wide service agency and recognized by the state as a Designated County Partner, licensed to distribute state grant funds. 
The Stanly County Chorale is a community choral organization that presents a series of two concerts per year (Spring and Winter). This is a volunteer organization that is always looking for new members who enjoy singing.
