Home to golf legend, Johnny Palmer, the area boasts varied courses from the historic, newly renovated par 71 course in Badin, to the newer par-72 courses at Uwharrie Point, Piney Point and Tillery Tradition. Stanly County's newest golf club, RedBridge, is located in Locust and borders Rocky River Vineyards. Be sure to call ahead and make tee-times or find out about special events and tournament schedules.
